According to reports, Prasoon Joshi is also a well-known lyricist of Bollywood. Prasoon has also been honoured several times for his songs. Prasoon has also been given the Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist three times for the movie 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' in the years 2007, 2008 and again in 2014. Along with this, he has also received the National Movie Award for Best Song twice for the movie Taare Zameen Par (2007) and Chittagong (2013).
