JioPhone Next was unveiled at the 44th Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries in June. Originally, this phone was set to debut in the Indian market in September, but the firm later stated that India's cheapest 4G smartphone will be available for purchase during the Diwali holiday season. In response to the launch's postponement, the firm stated that the phone is now undergoing essential testing. With the introduction, all of the phone's specifications and pricing will be made public for the first time. However, prior to its release, this phone was apparently found on the Google Play Console page, where the phone's key specifications were exposed.

This phone, will run Android 11 Go edition. This phone will have an HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. This phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 215 CPU and will have 2 GB of RAM. According to a previous leak, the JioPhone Next phone would have a 5.5-inch HD display. Apart from that, the phone features a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone's battery capacity might be 2,500 mAh.

Apart from that, the phone will include capabilities such as Read Aloud and Translate Now. Both of these new functionalities, according to the firm, may be used on webpages, applications, chats, and photos. Support for Google Assistant will also be available on the phone. Google and Snap have teamed to provide India-specific Snapchat filters to the phone's camera. Aside from that, the phone will come preinstalled with Google Play Store and Google Play Protect.

JioPhone Next's precise price has yet to be revealed by the business. However, according to leaked information, the price would be Rs 3,499.
