Mumbai: A case has been registered by the Banda Garden Police against a Pune resident who looks like Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde. It has been said in the complaint that the lookalike criminal Vijay Mane is misleading people by copying like CM Eknath Shinde. At the same time, he is also maligning the image of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. According to the news, the name of the culprit is Vijay Nandkumar Mane. He is a resident of Ambegaon. Sub-Inspector of Police Mohandas Appasaheb Jadhav has lodged a complaint on behalf of the government at Bund Garden police station.

Police have registered a case against Vijay under several sections of the IPC and the Information Technology Act. According to the police, on September 19, when patrolling was being done at the Bud Garden police station border, the news was received that Vijay Mane, who looked like CM Eknath Shinde, had taken a photo with a criminal.

The same photo went viral on social media. It is alleged that Vijay Mane is projecting himself as CM on social media. Like CM, he is misleading people by colloquialism. Thereafter, The police team found a photo of Vijay Mane looking like a CM. In this picture, a gangster from Pune, Sharad Mohol was also seen sitting on a chair together. Police say that Vijay Mane was regularly attending many events in the society wearing clothes like CM Eknath Shinde. Along with this, he was behaving like a CM and was making the photo viral on social media. Police say that the criminal deliberately tried to mislead the citizens. Attempts were made to malign CM Shinde's image in the society. The complaint of the incident states that the photo of Vijay Mane with a gangster from Pune went viral on social media. This created a misunderstanding among the people about the CM. Banda Garden Police has started an investigation by registering a case against Vijay Mane in this case.
