The person whose last rites were performed by his family in the Digha police station area returned to his home after three days. The family members were shocked to see him alive. Actually, a person named Devan Rai had gone missing a week ago. In a hurry, his family members lodged a missing complaint at the Digha police station. Due to the investigation, two days ago, the police recovered the dead body of a person from the banks of the Ganga.
The police got the post-mortem done in a hurry. Thereafter, the police told him about the dead body of Devan Rai, confirmed it, and handed over the body to the family members. The family members also cremated the dead body according to Hindu rituals, considering their family member dead. However, Devan Rai returned alive only 3 days after the funeral, which spread sensation in the entire area. Devan Rai told his family that some people had persuaded him to go far away in search of work. He said, Somehow he has returned to his home.

On the other hand, the accused named in the charge of murdering Devan Rai told investigators that all this was a well-planned conspiracy by the family members of Devan Rai.
