This inflation of goods is not limited to cars, houses, cement. The common man has to bear two-four due to inflation ranging from vegetables to fuel. The prices of lemons are skyrocketing in the summer season. Its price has reached Rs 300-400 per kg.
At the same time, there has been an increase of 40-60 percent in the prices of cumin, coriander and chilli in the recent times. At the same time, the price of beans has reached Rs 120 per kg. The price of cauliflower has now reached Rs 80 per kg, which was being sold at Rs 40 per kg till a few days ago. In the same retail market, the price of luffa has reached Rs 100 per kg, lady finger Rs 100 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 100 per kg, chilli vegetable has reached Rs 70 per kg. However, the prices of potatoes and onions are still under control, due to which the common people are in some relief.
The problem of the common people is not limited to the rise in the prices of vegetables. The increase in the price of milk has also increased the problems of the common people. Since last month, milk of Amul, Mother Dairy has become expensive by up to Rs 2 per liter. In the last few days, the increase in the prices of these items has been due to the increase in the cost. Petrol and diesel prices have seen an increase of up to Rs 10 each in 18 days. Apart from this, the prices of CNG have increased substantially. This has made freight costlier. At the same time, steel prices have increased by Rs 2,500-3,000 per tonne in the last few days.
