Rewa: In the Raj Niwas of MP's Rewa, the police of Mahant Sitaram, the main culprit of the gang rape of a minor, removed all the arrogance. As soon as the police arrested the influential Mahant, his ancestral house was destroyed by a bulldozer. Not only this, the police took out a procession from the Civil Line Police Station to the District Court. The police is searching the properties of all the criminals so that it can be grounded.
After Uttar Pradesh, now Madhya Pradesh has also started seeing the wonders of bulldozers. Angered by the heinous act of gang rape at Raj Niwas, the bulldozer of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached the ancestral residence of Mahant Sitaram. The administration, which has now swung into action after Shivraj's diktat, bulldozed the pucca house built in Sitaram's village Gudwa.
After raping the same minor at Raj Niwas on March 28, the Mahant ran away and hid in the same building and had fled to Siganrauli in the morning. On March 30, the police arrested Mahanta from the bus stand Baidhan. On the 31st, Sitaram underwent medical treatment at the District Hospital. The Civil Line police took Sitaram to the court before sending him to jail. The police vehicle was in a bad shape, so Sitaram was made to march on foot from the police station to the court. Mahant Sitaram was walking in the scorching sun. There was a mask on his face, but there were neither shoes nor slippers on his feet. The main culprit, Sitaram, was accompanied by history-sheeter Vinod Pandey. Both the criminals were taken to the court by the security guard of the police. On reaching here, the lawyers raised slogans of 'Murdabad' and demanded the hanging. There was a huge rush in the court to see mahant in police custody and people were hurling filthy abuses. The police had to be very hard at convincing the lawyers. The police have taken a two-day court remand to expose the black deeds of the main culprit.
