According to reports, a two-year-old girl was raped inside the house at around 9 a.m. on Monday in Cannonachchi and was a relative of the accused. As soon as the girl screamed, her mother Dadi escaped, the rapist Appu Kumar said. On the statement of the girl's mother, the artillery police registered a case under the POCSO Act and launched a search for the rapist and arrested the accused late Monday night from Bokaro district.
