Bareilly: A shocking incident is coming to the fore from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, where even after marriage, family members have carried out a gruesome incident with a girl who is adamant on living with her lover. With the intention of killing the girl, she was stripped naked, poured acid on her and strangled her. Then knowing her dead, fled by throwing her in the bushes in Fatehganj West Police Station area. But the girl somehow managed to reach the road by crawling and the police admitted her to the hospital. When the girl somehow told about herself in writing, the conspiracy of the family members came to know. The girl's father and brother-in-law have been arrested.

On Tuesday morning, the girl was found naked in the bushes on the roadside leading to Agaras village in Fatehganj West police station area. Acid was poured on the girl's face and body and burnt. Also, attempt to murder by strangulation was made. On the information of the villagers, CO Mirganj Harsh Modi along with the police reached the spot and sent the girl to the district hospital. The part of the girl's face till her stomach was burnt and she was not in a position to speak. She wrote to the police stating her name as Munni Devi daughter of Totaram, resident of Village Dada, Thana Shahi. Then the police informed her family members, then father Totaram reached the district hospital. 

According to the police, father Totaram told that his daughter had a love affair with Ajay from the village and she had gone with him twice. Because of this, on April 22, he got her married to Devendra, a resident of Bhagwanpur village under police station Binawar in Badaun. On Sunday, when she reached her in-laws house with Prem Kumar and elder son-in-law Dinesh, she spoke to her lover Ajay on her husband's phone and was insisting on going with him. Those people explained to her and after staying there overnight, he returned home on Monday morning. On Tuesday morning, the police informed them about the daughter lying in a dying condition in Fatehganj West. She accused unknown people of doing this incident, On the basis of which Fatehganj West Police started investigation by registering a report. But within a few hours the whole incident came to light and the police arrested the girl's father Totaram and brother-in-law Dinesh. During interrogation, the criminals accepted that Munni was adamant on living with her lover. For this reason, they planned to kill her along with her husband Devendra and brother Prem Kumar, but she was saved by deception.
