In such a situation, it is important to know what should be done first if someone suddenly gets a heart attack. Especially when this disease is not limited to people above 50 years of age, but has become common among young people of 15-20 years.

Symptoms of a Heart Attack

There are some common symptoms of a heart attack, by identifying which, appropriate steps can be taken in time:

Severe chest pain – This pain may feel like pressure, heaviness, or tightness. This pain often starts above the stomach and spreads to the left arm or shoulder. Sometimes there may be pain in the jaw and teeth as well.

Difficulty in breathing – Difficulty in breathing and excessive sweating are the main symptoms of a heart attack.

Problems like gas in the stomach – Some people may feel gas formation before a heart attack, which people often ignore.

What should be done immediately?

During a heart attack, the heartbeat stops, due to which the person's pulse cannot be felt. In such a situation, it is very important to revive the person's heart within 2-3 minutes, otherwise his brain may get damaged due to lack of oxygen.

Hit the chest hard – In case of a heart attack, punch the person's chest hard. Do this until he regains consciousness. This can make the heart start working again.

Give CPR – If the person has fainted and his pulse is not working, then immediately give him CPR. To give CPR, place your palm on the person's chest and press it for 1-2 inches. This process should be done about 100 times in a minute. This can restart the heartbeat. Also, give mouth to mouth respiration so that oxygen supply can be ensured. Heart attack can happen at any age, so do not make the mistake of considering it a disease of the elderly only. Life can be saved by recognizing the symptoms on time and giving first aid.
