New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's school teacher Rasvihari Maniyar has passed away at the age of 94. He retired as principal from BN Vidyalaya in Vadnagar, Gujarat. In this school, PM Narendra Modi studied in childhood. Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the death of his teacher.

Sharing information about the death of Maniyar, PM Modi said, "Deeply saddened to hear about the death of my school teacher Rasvihari Maniyar. His invaluable contribution to my life. I stayed connected to him till this stage of my life. As a student, I am satisfied with getting his guidance throughout my life.'' In his tweet, PM Narendra Modi also posted a picture with his guru Rasvihari Maniyar. Along with this, he has written that 'Prayers for the peace of the departed soul. In this photo, PM Modi is honoring his teacher. During this time, he also touched the guru's feet and took blessings. This picture is a few years old.'
