The Summer I Turned Pretty, a romantic drama series, has recently released its trailer, and the young coming-of-age series obviously advances its story and love triangle forward. The show is based on Jenny Han's novel series of the same name, and the next season will be available on Amazon Prime Video next month.

On June 29, 2023, the trailer for season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty was released. Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, and Gavin Casalegno play Isabel "Belly" Conklin, Conrad Fisher, and Jeremiah Fisher in the love triangle drama series. The teaser for the drama incorporates pop star Taylor Swift's songs Back to December and August, as the protagonists battle with the themes of love, life, friendship, and family. The trailer depicts the characters dealing with Susannah's death and the possibility of losing their beach property, which is not only close to their hearts but also holds some of their favorite summer memories. Meanwhile, Belly's contradictory and confusing relationships with the Fisher brothers add to the drama and chaos of the love triangle. As the beach house is listed for sale, the childhood friends band together to guarantee that they do not lose it.

The description says, "Belly used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, but with Conrad and Jeremiah fighting over her heart and the return of Susannah's cancer, she's not sure summer will ever be the same." It concludes, "When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah's beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together—and to decide once and for all where her heart lies."

Season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty will release on Amazon Prime Video on July 14, 2023, with the first three episodes named Love Lost, Love Scene, and Love Sick. A new episode will thereafter be released every week on Friday until the season finale on August 18, 2023, when the season's eighth and last episode will be released.
