Bhopal: On Sunday, many flocks of Rajasthani locusts came inside the capital of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and neighboring district of Raisen. During this time, instructions have been given to the Agriculture Department for active tracking of locusts and immediate action. These locusts swam have been planned to spray chemicals during the night. Bhopal's Deputy Director, SN Sonania said that there are two groups of grasshopper teams here. One of them is spread over an area of about 1.5 km near a canal on Kolar Road. At the same time, the second party is in the Bercia region. He said that the herds of locusts had gone into the forests in the Berasia region, but with the winds it has now returned to the same area from where it returned.

During this, the officer said, "We have sought help from the fire brigade to use fire tenders to spray chemicals on locusts that settle on trees at night. "On the reason behind this, he said that it is difficult to spray chemicals with normal sprayers on locusts sitting at the height of trees. He said that he hoped he would control these locusts at night." Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture in Raisen NP Suman said, "We have received reports about locust swarms from one or two places. Since there is no crop in the agricultural sector, farmers are not worried but their presence in the state poses a threat to kharif crops. Maybe. We are trying to control them. "

Let us tell you that another officer of the Agriculture Department has said on this matter that so far about 35 districts have been affected by desert locusts. However, before this there was an attack by grasshopper parties in several states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, where crops were heavily damaged.
