Hyderabad: The Telangana state government on Monday released the Corona Bulletin. Accordingly, 224 new cases of Covid-19 were reported, followed by a total of 2,90,008 infected. At the same time, the death toll reached 1,566 after another patient died from coronavirus infection.
According to the state government bulletin till 8 pm on January 10, the greater 56 cases were reported in greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), followed by 26 cases in Ranga Reddy, 13 cases in Malkajgiri and Karimnagar.
So far 2,83,924 people have been infected in the state and 4,518 patients are being treated. According to the bulletin, 24,785 samples were tested on January 10. So far 72,78,021 samples have been tested in the state.
In the last 24 hours, 16,311 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the country. This is the lowest in daily cases in the last 6 months. The total number of cases in the country is now 10,466,595. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare gave this information on Monday.
Earlier, on January 5, the daily low of 16,375 cases were reported. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that 161 people died in the last 24 hours, with the total death toll reaching 1,51,160. In the last 17 days, less than 300 deaths are reported daily in the country.
According to the ministry statistics, 1,00,92,909 people have recovered from the disease. Currently, 2,22,526 people are suffering from this virus. The recovery rate in the country is 96.43 per cent and the death rate is 1.44 per cent. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that after 6,59,209 trials on January 10, a total of 18,517,55,831 trials have been conducted so far.
Maharashtra is the state with 19,69,114 cases in the country. 82.25 per cent of the new cases are from Kerala, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and Gujarat.
