55 thousand new patients in 24 hours, 57,937 cured: According to the data released by the Central Health Department at 8 am on Tuesday, 55,079 new cases have been reported in the country during the last 24 hours and the total number of infected people is more than 27 lakh 2 thousand. The active cases are 6 lakh 73 thousand 166, which is 24.91 percent of the total cases. Another 876 people have died due to this epidemic, taking the total death toll to 51,797. The ministry said that on Monday more than 8 lakh 99 thousand samples have been tested. So far, three crores 9 lakh 41 thousand 264 samples have been tested.
