New Delhi: After Corona, the new variant has created a worldwide outcry, the same variant has been named Omicron by the World Health Organization (WHO). This variant of the corona has put the whole world under tension. This new variant of the corona has also had an impact on the Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO). WTO has announced the cancellation of a ministerial conference in view of the latest situation due to corona. This has been announced by a statement issued by the WTO. According to reports, the General Council of WTO held talks on the Ministerial Conference on November 26 after which it was decided to cancel it.
The WTO said, it has been decided to postpone the conference in view of the serious situation caused by corona. We will hold these conferences as soon as the approval is received. Strict travel restrictions are in place due to the epidemic which was expected to prevent many ministers from reaching Geneva. It was decided not to hold this conference.
The panic of the new variant of the same corona infection is being seen all over the world. The Governments are being vigilant. India has also put Britain, South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Botswana, Zimbabwe, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Israel on the list of risk countries. People coming to India from these countries are being screened at Delhi airport. The test-conducting lab claims that not a single case of corona's new variant has been reported so far. On the other hand, while countries around the world are being tough on international aircraft, the Government of India is in the process of launching them.
