After appearing in "The World of the Married" for two years, Kim Hee Ae is returning to a drama. The political drama "Gust Of Wind" by Park Kyung Soo is the piece of art chosen for her by Kim Hee Ae. On August 31st, Kim Hee Ae's agency, YG Entertainment announced, "We received an offer to appear in 'Gust Of Wind' and are considering it."
After a five-year hiatus, acclaimed author Park Kyung Soo has returned with "Gust Of Wind." With his previous works, "Whisper," "Punch," "Empire of Gold," and "The Chaser," writer Park amassed a sizable fan base. directed by If You Say Your Wish and Method director Kim Yong Wan. Kim Hee Ae was given the part of Su Jin, the deputy prime minister for the economy and the party leader, in the political drama "Gust of Wind," which centres on Park Dong Ho, the prime minister who doubles as the president.
The production team is now casting the lead roles, including Park Dong Ho, and intends to begin shooting for the first time in the second half of this year. The original Wavve picture "Dead Man," which will be released in the second part of the year, was wrapped up by Kim Hee Ae in February.
Kim Hee Ae is best known for her leading roles in Korean dramas such as ‘Sons and Daughters’ (1992), ‘Perfect Love’ (2003), ‘My Husband's Woman’ (2007), ‘How Long I've Kissed’ (2012), ‘Secret Affair’ (2014), and ‘The World of the Married’ (2020). She has received multiple acting awards including two Daesang (Grand Prize) and four Best Actress Awards for Television at the Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2020, she was selected as Gallup Korea's Television Actor of the Year.
