Sagar: The world's longest LPG pipeline is about to emerge from Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. This pipeline will pass through some villages under Bina tehsil. The company IHB Limited, which is laying it, has started the process of land acquisition in Bina tehsil Paar, Chakk, Agasod, Kathai, Chakarghai, Vermaine and Karonda villages through Collector Deepak Arya. According to the report, the total length of this pipeline is 2557 km. Due to which it has become the longest LPG supply pipeline not only in Asia but also in the whole world. Along with Sagar, this pipeline will also pass through Ujjain, Dewas, Sehore, Bhopal and Vidisha districts.
According to the report, LPG will be supplied to 6 bottling plants of Madhya Pradesh through this gas pipeline. Starting from Kandla district of Gujarat, this pipeline will reach Gorakhpur via Lalitpur, Jhansi, Kanpur in UP. Tell that, 2 years ago, the foundation stone of this pipeline project was laid in Kandla by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2021. According to the information, IHB Limited has been given a deadline of the end of the year 2023 to complete the work of laying this pipeline.
IHB Limited is the company engaged in laying the world's longest gas pipeline. Which is a joint venture of 3 major public sector oil and gas companies Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. After laying the pipeline, this company will also look after the operation and maintenance of the pipeline. This pipeline will supply gas to Gorakhpur, the last district of Uttar Pradesh via the west coast of Gujarat.
