New Delhi: Amidst the scorching heat, now the process of unseasonal rain has also started. The Meteorological Department (IMD) says that this havoc is going to continue. Lightning will strike, clouds will thunder, hail will fall, and it will rain heavily, but before the time, which will be harmful for the farmers. Actually, IMD has predicted unseasonal rains for the next 5 days in many parts of the country including Maharashtra. 

IMD has predicted that from today (April 28, Friday) till May 4, there is going to be heavy rain across the country. Maximum rainfall has been predicted in North India. Let us inform that, for the last few days, the temperature had risen in many parts of Maharashtra. The mercury had crossed 40 in many areas. On the other hand, there were many parts of the state as well, where due to unseasonal rains, there has been a lot of damage to the crops. Mangoes and oranges have rotted due to unseasonal rains and hailstorm in Amravati district. Along with this, onion crops have been ruined. 

In Wadwani and Gevrai tehsils of Beed district, unseasonal rains have caused a lot of loss to the farmers. It rained heavily this morning in Naigaon, Kandahar of Nanded district. There has been torrential rain in Motala of Buldhana. Now there is a possibility of unseasonal rains in many parts of Maharashtra for the next 5 days as well. For the next 5 days, where torrential rains are expected in North India, moderate rains are expected in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. .

The Meteorological Department says that along with the rain, strong winds will also blow. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in many parts of Maharashtra. Talking about South India, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Kerala are likely to receive heavy rains in the next 5 days.
