New Delhi: The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the company's newest flagship phone, has been unveiled. The device has up to four 50MP cameras, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 1TB of storage, and 90W wired fast-charging, among other highlights, with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.

The phone made its debut in China with a base 12GB/256GB configuration starting at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 71,600).

The newest rival in the flagship smartphone market is the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

It can compete with devices like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, iPhone 14 Pro Max, HONOUR Magic5 Pro, Huawei P60 Pro, and OPPO Find X6 Pro.

The device appears promising and may be among the best smartphones of 2023, based on the specifications.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a metal frame, curved edges, a punch-hole cut-out in the centre, an under-display fingerprint reader, and an IP68 rating. On the back, it displays a circular camera setup.

A 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440x3200 pixels) C7 LTPO 3.0 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits is featured on the gadget.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a 50.3 MP (f/4.0, OIS) 1.0-inch main camera, a 50MP (f/2.2), a 50MP (f/3.0, OIS), a 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) telephoto lens, and a ToF 3D sensor on the back. It has a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie camera up front.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage power the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

It is available in configurations of 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. The device starts with MIUI 14 and Android 13 underneath.

It has a 5,000mAh battery and can be charged at 90W wirelessly, 50W wirelessly, and 10W reverse wirelessly. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 (LE) are both supported by the 5G phone.

The 12GB/256GB model of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is available for pre-order for CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs. 71,600). Costing CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs. 77,550) and CNY 7,299 (Rs. 87,100), respectively, are the 16GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB models. Starting on April 21, it will be sold in China.
