New Delhi: A unique case of milk theft has been heard in Delhi. Police have already detained a youth who stole milk from outside the shop. Four litres of milk has also been seized from him. The incident took place in South Delhi's Kalkaji area. The name of the accused is Ram Kumar (26). He is a resident of Navjivan Camp in Govindpuri. It is being said that on finding out the action of the accused, the shopkeeper's neighbour caught hold of him and then the shopkeeper Rajiv Kumar handed him over to the police. Kalkaji police have registered a case and the youth has been taken into custody.
Rajiv Kumar, a shopkeeper who lives in a DDA flat in Kalkaji, said that the milk outside the shop has been kept in carats. On Thursday morning, the accused was trying to escape by stealing four litres of milk from the carat when neighbour Tapan Das caught hold of him and brought him to us.
On the statement of Rajiv Kumar, the police have registered a case and initiated action. In the midst of the operation, the accused Rajkumar has been taken into custody and the stolen milk has been seized from him. The accused will be produced in court. However, no case was registered against the accused.
