New Delhi: Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal is engaged in gathering support against the central government in Parliament these days. He is seeking support from opposition parties in Parliament against the Centre's ordinance on Delhi. Some parties have announced support. Congress leaders have also held a meeting in this regard. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge was asked by Congress leaders from Punjab and Delhi not to support the AAP. In particular, Delhi Congress veteran Ajay Maken has categorically refused to support Kejriwal.

Delhi Congress leaders told party president Kharge in one voice that there should be no alliance with Arvind Kejriwal. Leaders like Ajay Maken have asked the party not to support Kejriwal and AAP. At the same time, Punjab Congress leaders instructed the party to stay away from the alliance with AAP. However, the leaders have left it to Speaker Kharge to decide whether to support AAP on the ordinance or not. Punjab Congress leader Amarinder Singh Raja Brar says that all the leaders have given their opinion. Now the next decision has to be taken by the party's prominent leader Rahul Gandhi and President Kharge.  

At the same time, Navjot Singh Sidhu, who attended the party meeting, said that the discussion about AAP is confidential. Only the President and Rahul Gandhi will speak on this. He said in his personal opinion that no state government can be dictated by the Governor. It is being told in the meeting that senior Congress leader Ajay Maken also made a presentation not to oppose the ordinance. "First, if the Congress opposes this ordinance, it will be against the prudent decisions of Pandit Nehru, Sardar Patel, Ambedkar, Lal Bahadur Shastri. Second, if the ordinance is not passed, it will give Kejriwal the privileges that former chief ministers of the capital had been deprived of till date. Ajay Maken said that many veteran leaders like Nehru-Shastri had decided to keep the rights of transfer-posting in Delhi in the hands of the Central Government, because Delhi is the capital of the country, Delhi, as much as Delhi, is also of Bihar-Punjab and Kashmir. Therefore, the control of transfer-posting of officers there should remain in the hands of the Center.  

It's invigorating to witness that, finally, leaders from @AamAadmiParty are acknowledging the substantial technical concern I've raised.

The Kejriwal government removed Vigilance Officer Rajashekhar from his post as soon as he got power from the Supreme Court. But, the central government brought an ordinance and then Rajasekhar got his post back. After this, it was revealed that Rajshekhar was investigating the Delhi liquor scam and crores of rupees spent on CM Kejriwal's bungalow. After his removal from the post, it was also revealed that the files kept in his office were tampered with. A video had gone viral, in which 2-3 people were seen scanning files in Rajshekhar's office at midnight.
