Indore: Aam Aadmi Party is also going to field its candidates in Indore's municipal elections. Like the BJP-Congress, the selection process of AAP candidates is also being done in Bhopal. However, AAP's mode of candidate selection is different from that of both parties. Aam Aadmi Party has announced that the name will be decided after interviewing the contenders. Only after which the tickets will be announced. The interview process has already started in Bhopal from Saturday.

Aam Aadmi Party is busy trying to select the names of candidates for 50 wards in Indore in the first round. AAP's state in-charge Mukesh Goyal has set his sights in Bhopal. On Saturday, interviews of the contenders from 50 wards were conducted by Goyal. On Monday, interviews have been started for the selection of candidates for the post of mayor. Sources in the party said that four people have expressed their desire to contest for the post of Indore mayor on behalf of AAP. All of them have reached Bhopal for the testimony. Two of these claimants are said to be associated with the profession of advocacy. While the other two contenders are old workers of AAP's Indore unit. AAP spokesperson Hemant Joshi said, "We are not going to make the names public until the tickets are fixed. But it is true that according to the procedure of the party, all the claimants are going to be examined and the tickets of 40 to 50 wards will be announced for Indore corporation elections in today and tomorrow.''
