New Delhi: Former US President Donald Trump has praised PM Narendra Modi. In one of his interviews, he said that Prime Minister Modi is a good person and is doing a very good job. Trump said that India has never had a better friend than me. He indicated that he could re-enter the US presidential race to be held in 2024.

Donald Trump said, "I have had a very good relationship with India and PM Modi. We were friends and I think PM Modi is a great person and doing a great job. It's not a simple task they've got.'' He also said that I think India has never had a better American friend and president than me.

At the same time, in response to a question, he said that he had better relations with India than President Biden and Barack Obama. Donald Trump said that you have to ask PM Modi about this. But I don't think any American President would have had a better relationship with India than me. Let us tell you that Donald Trump was defeated in the US presidential election in November 2020. However, he did not accept the defeat in the election and made allegations of fraud. Thereafter, his supporters allegedly resorted to violence on Capitol Hill (Parliament Building Complex) on 6 January. Recently, President Joe Biden made a strong comment on the violence of Trump and his supporters regarding this incident. He said that there is no place for political violence in America.
