Amritsar: Punjab CM Charanjeet Singh Channi on Friday admitted that there is no evidence of this atrocity in the case of the man who was murdered in Kapurthala on charges of cruelty. The case is under investigation. Talking to the press, CM Channi said that based on this, the FIR will now be changed.

According to CM Channi, an FIR of murder will now be lodged. Cm Channi also announced waiver of loans up to Rs 2 lakh to farmers. It may be recalled that a man was brutally beaten to death by people present in the gurudwara in the alleged alleged alleged murder of Beyadbi in Kapurthala. Deep wounds of sharp weapon were found on the body of the deceased. It was only after this incident that another case of cruelty came to light.

Both these incidents have created a stir in Punjab.'
