Darbhanga: Wild animals present in and around the Darbhanga airport complex of Bihar will be shot. About two hundred nilgai and wild pigs live here. The shoot-out order has been received by the forest department. The district forest officer has confirmed that these animals will be killed with the help of sharpshooters. In fact, due to the sudden threat of wild animals on and around the runway, there is a fear of accidents at the airport.

While discussing with the media, District Forest Officer Sudhir Kumar Gupta confirmed the matter of this shootout. Sudhir Kumar said that the situation inside Darbhanga airport is not good. Because of this, it is not possible to catch animals by tranquilising them. Wild animals are seen around the runway and sometimes on the runway. In such a situation, there is a fear of a major accident.

Further Sudhir Kumar said that world life was first informed about the shoot-out of the animals. Then, a high-level meeting was held. Then this decision has been taken. It's not that there was no attempt to catch them. Attempts were also made 4 months ago. At that time only 4 nilgais could be caught. Thus it is not possible to continue to catch animals. So, it has now been decided that such wild animals will be shot.
