New Delhi: The notification of the panel of lawyers has been issued by the Delhi government for the hearing in the riots case. A total of 6 lawyers have been identified in this panel for hearing the case. In this panel, 3 additional Solicitor Generals including one Solicitor General have been included.

The first name in the list is that of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta. Along with this, the government has elected Aman Lekhi, Chetan Sharma and SV Raju for additional solicitor general. The government has also included lawyer Amit Mahajan and lawyer Rajat Nair in the panel. In the Delhi violence case, all these lawyers will present the favour of Delhi Police in relation to 85 FIRs. In the past, the lawyer Rahul Mehra had raised questions regarding the Central Government's lawyers appearing in the Delhi High Court on behalf of the Delhi Police. Please tell that now the government has issued a notification marking the names of these 6 lawyers of the Central Government.

Now, these lawyers will represent Delhi Police in all 85 FIRs. The Cabinet of the Delhi Government had rejected this panel earlier. But LG has retained the same panel, reversing the decision of the Cabinet, after which the Delhi government has issued a notification today.
