In 1994, outside the Intermediate Jail in Thane, there was a sight to be seen, which can hardly be forgotten. Many big stars of the Bollywood industry like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Dilip Kumar himself, stood outside the jail. Everyone had posters in their hands that read, "Sanju, Hum Tumhare Saath Hain." The talk of the day is when Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was arrested.

Allegations on Sanjay Dutt after 1993 Mumbai Bomb Blasts:  Bomb blasts in Mumbai in 1993 shook the whole country. In this terrible incident, 257 people died and more than a thousand people were injured. At that time, Sanjay Dutt's name came to the fore when illegal weapons were found in his house. According to the police, these weapons were given by a gangster named Abu Salem. Sanjay Dutt was arrested on 19 July 1993 for possession of illegal weapons.

Sanjay Dutt's Cleanup and Arrest:  Sanjay Dutt said that he kept these weapons to protect his family, but his cleanup had no effect. He was arrested and sent to jail. Subsequently, he was released on bail on 5 May, but his bail was revoked exactly one year later, on 4 May 1994. After this he had to go to jail again.

Bollywood stands in support of Sanjay Dutt:  As soon as the news of Sanjay Dutt's arrest came out, the entire Bollywood stood in support of him. All the stars held a meeting together and printed thousands of posters. On 6 May 1994, many big stars gathered outside Thane Jail and showed their support for Sanjay Dutt. It is believed that this was the first time when such a large number of Bollywood stars stood together and supported an actor. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and many other actors consider Sanjay Dutt as their big brother and stood by him in his difficult times.
