The MTV Video Music Awards 2022 star-studded evening got underway in style as the biggest names in the music business walked the red carpet. Everyone attended the awards ceremony, including artists like Taylor Swift, Lizzo, and others who were up for significant prizes that night. The ceremony is known for honouring the best music.
Some of the biggest performers, like Lil Nas X, who never ceases to wow us with his red carpet style, took the red carpet by storm this year. The Industry Baby singer arrived for the red carpet event without a shirt on and in a striking ensemble that included black leggings and a huge black fur halo. Taylor Swift, who wore a sparkling silver costume to the Oscars, also had a gorgeous entrance during the ceremony. BLACKPINK, a K-Pop girl trio, also made a spectacular entrance on the VMAs red carpet wearing all-black attire.
Regarding Lizzo, the artist who is one of the top contenders for this year's Video Music Awards, she made a statement with her all-black ensemble. On the red carpet, the singer wore a Jean Paul Gaultier gown, matching her makeup with a black lip colour. Lizzo's startling appearance has undoubtedly gotten many on the internet buzzing.
In terms of this year's Video Music Awards winners, Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow took home the Best Collaboration Award. BLACKPINK also won a significant prize, taking home the Best Metaverse Performance trophy.
