New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has informed that Delhi Metro will resume its services from September 7 as per the Central Government guidelines. A detailed AOP will be issued regarding the operation of the metro.

Signs of running the railways: With the permission of almost all the activities outside the Containment Zone, it is clear that the railway is also going to increase operations gradually. It has been told in the guidelines that the ongoing Metro operations will be started from March 22, the Ministry of Urban Development and Railways will be issued new SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).

Mass programs allowed with conditions: It has been learned that the guidelines also state that social, educational, sports, entertainment, cultural, religious, political ceremonies and other gatherings with a maximum limit of 100 person to be granted from 21 September.

New instructions for lockdown: Now no state will be able to impose separate lockdown without the permission of the central government. It has been told in the guidelines that the state and Union Territory governments are not going to issue lockdown at any local level except the Containment Zone without consulting the Central Government. The lockdown is to be strictly followed till 30 September in the Containment Zone.
