Jamshedpur: Supporters of former CM Raghubar Das and Independent MLA Saryu Rai clashed over the celebration of the Chhath festival in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. There was a lot of fighting between the two groups, in which 5 people were injured. In view of the tense situation after the ruckus, a police force was deployed there. At the same time, the people of the Saryu Rai group started a protest.  

In fact, there was a tussle between MLA Saryu Rai and Raghubar Das camp over the organization of the Chhath festival in the Surya Temple premises at Sidgoda in Jamshedpur. There was a lot of fighting between the two, in which 5 people were injured. This also led to a lot of vandalism. In view of the tense situation, the police force has been deployed there. It is being said that the persons of the Saryu Rai faction had set up a camp for those who kept Chhath fast at Sidgoda Surya Temple, which was adjacent to the venue of the Raghubar Das faction' function. Due to this, there was a conflict between the two sides for a long time. Later, suddenly some people came in and uprooted Saryu Rai's tent and threw it away. Subsequently, Subodh Srivastava, district president of Saryu Rai's Bharatiya Jantantrik Morcha, among others, was attacked.   

Subsequently, the persons of the Saryu Rai faction retaliated and attacked them, injuring several people. Subodh Srivastava was also injured in the assault. An application was made by the Raghubar Das group to hold the singer's ceremony at the Surya Temple. MLA Saryu Rai's group in Jamshedpur axis also had an application that they wanted the devotees to make arrangements for night stay and camps to be set up, but the administration did not take any decision. Then, both factions got involved in organising on their own. Meanwhile, the Saryu Rai faction also set up its tent. Then, the matter took the form of controversy. Due to this, Chandragupta Singh, who was with Saryu Rai, appeared with the Raghubar Das faction.
