Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has once again increased the worries of private telecom companies Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone Idea. Government telecom company BSNL has made its three major broadband plans cheaper, which will be a big benefit for users who use more internet. The special thing is that only last month, private telecom companies had increased the prices of their recharge plans by up to 15 percent. Since then, people are increasingly turning to BSNL services and getting their numbers ported to BSNL.
BSNL has reduced the rates of its three initial broadband plans. In these plans, users will now get a chance to access the Internet at a higher speed than before. BSNL has increased the Internet speed to 25Mbps for broadband plans of Rs 249, Rs 299, and Rs 329. Earlier in these plans, users used to get speeds ranging from 10Mbps to 20Mbps, but now this speed has reached 25Mbps, which will make the Internet experience of users even better.
These three broadband plans of BSNL are based on FUP (Fair Usage Policy), which means that users will get high-speed internet only up to a certain data limit. After this the speed will decrease, but users can still use the internet.
Rs 249 plan: In this plan, users are being given a total of 10GB data for the entire month. When this 10GB data is exhausted, the internet speed will be reduced to 2Mbps.
Rs 299 plan: In this plan, users get a FUP limit of 20GB. After the data limit is exhausted, the speed will drop from 2Mbps to 1Mbps.
Rs 329 plan: In this plan, users are being given a FUP limit of 1000GB. Even after the data limit is exhausted, users will get unlimited data with a speed of 4Mbps.
BSNL's Rs 249 and Rs 299 plans are available only for new users. Whereas, the Rs 329 plan is open to all users. Along with high-speed internet, these three plans also provide unlimited calling facility to any number. This means that now BSNL users will not only be able to enjoy fast internet, but will also be able to make calls without any additional charge.
After private telecom companies increased the prices of plans, people are now turning to BSNL in search of cheaper and better options. This new initiative of BSNL is proving to be very beneficial for those users who want good services at low prices. This move of BSNL will not only make its users happy but will also prove to be a challenge for private companies.
