47 companies around the world have voiced against GCHQ's plan to monitor voice-encrypted chat simultaneously. These companies have signed an open letter in which the agency has condemned this step. Also requested to leave the scheme. This is because if the user's encrypted chat is monitored, then their independence and civil rights protection will be disturbed. These 47 companies include companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft, and WhatsApp. These companies are strongly condemning the proposal.

According to media reports, the idea of this monitoring plan was published in November 2018 in a series of essays by two UK cyber security officers Ian Levi and Crispin Robinson. In this, he gave an example suggesting that a third party participant in WhatsApp was also added. This third participant will always receive messages from the sender and the recipient of the message receiver. However, this is the way to monitor someone.

For your information, let us tell you that this is just a proposal. GCHQ is not planning anything like this. At the same time, Ian Levy of the National Cyber Security Center, responding to the open letter, said that he welcomes the offer to companies. This is only the beginning of the conversation. He has said that we will get any conclusions on this from all the parties.
