However, optical illusions have an upper hand when it comes to share-ability. Be it a blue shoe that appears to be pink to many, Kendel Jenner’s missing leg, non-red strawberries or a kid playing underwater, they all have gone viral at some point in time
Now, a picture of a model wearing a pair of white ballerina shoes has gone viral on social media and confused a lot of netizens.
The picture was first shared on Instagram by Leather Company Mansur Gavriel of Lambskin Ballerinas. While some users thought the image was photo-shopped, many pointed out that there was nothing wrong with it.
At first glance, the image looks edited as the model’s legs appear to be too skinny. However, it looks like an optical illusion because the woman’s dress matched the colour of the background against which the picture was taken. A significant portion of the leg is covered with the off-white dress, thus making the model’s leg look oddly thin.

After the picture went viral, many users reacted by saying the image was badly photo-shopped. However, it didn’t take much time before everyone saw the ‘real picture’.
One user wrote, "What the hell is going on with this foot and leg,"."Can't unsee my first impression of this image, even though I finally figured it out," wrote another user.
