Kanchipuram: Bhanumati, a national-level Kabaddi player living in the Kancheepuram district of Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday committed suicide. Bhanumati, only 25, hanged herself in her room, was taken to the hospital at night but could not survive. It has been found in the investigation that she was upset due to a lack of a job.

Bhanumati's father Dharmaraj is a vegetable vendor. She was the youngest in her house. On Tuesday, when Bhanumati was found hanging in a trap, the family members took her to a nearby private hospital. where she was declared dead. The police have also taken action in this incident, Bhanumati's body has been sent for postmortem.  

The same police have recovered Bhanumati's mobile phone and an investigation has been launched. Bhanumati has participated in several tournaments for the state level, national level for her district and state. In the investigation of the police, it has been found that she was upset due to a lack of a job. At present, the police are investigating the case and are investigating why Bhanumati had to take such a step.
