Actor Sourabh Verma is currently on social media. One such perfume ad is due to Saurabh Verma's splash on the internet, the last few days have been embroiled in controversy for some time. This  perfume ad was dropped after the allegation of promoting 'gang rape culture'. In the first week of June, two ads of perfume brand layer shot sparked outrage among social media users, who claimed that the ad also sought to promote sexual violence against women. Many celebs including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Hrithik Roshan, Richa Chadha and Farhan Akhtar also said a lot about the ad.

According to media reports, Saurabh has refused to do the same ad. Abbas Mirza de has issued a notice of this. Abbas Mirza shared  a screen shot of his  actor friend Sourabh Verma's chat with the casting agent for the ad in which he politely refused to add as he found it 'disrespectful and especially disrespectful to women'. Abbas has also shared screenshots of Saurabh's chat with the casting agent for Ed.  

Saurabh's post of changing the script and turning down the project has started going viral on social media. Internet users are praising Saurabh for not being in line for money, especially when it comes to women's safety.
