These days south films winning the hearts of the audience. These movie are replacing Bollywood films. IMDb has released their list of top 10 movies of 2022. Only Bollywood Hindi film made to the top 10 list. SS Rajamouli's RRR took the top spot, The Kashmir Files by Vivek Agnihotri stood second. As IMDb determines its list of the most popular movies and web series by the actual page views of the more than 200 million monthly visitors.
Speaking about RRR, It follows a pre-Independence fictional story woven around two real-life Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR) in the 1920s. The film released worldwide in March in five languages -- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

The Kashmir Files is the only Bollywood film that got spot in the top 10 ranking. Although the movie got harsh criticism by some of the people from Bollywood. Speaking of Kashmir Files was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and ended up grossing over ₹350 crore worldwide, largely due to strong word of mouth. The film, directed by Pallavi’s husband Vivek Agnihotri, dealt with the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley over 30 years ago. The film beat out several big releases like Ranbir Kapoor’s Shams Hera, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, and Akshay Kumar’s Samrat Prithviraj in the box office race.
