Nawazuddin Siddiqui is appointed as the brand ambassador of the Samajwadi Kisan Beema Yojna by Uttar Pradesh government, on Wednesday. UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has announced the news.

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav with announcing Nawaz's name said, "they can reach a wider audience which will eventually help the scheme aimed at providing insurance coverage to the farmers. The scheme provides for cashless treatment up to Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs one lakh for the organ transplant." Nawaz attended the event where he said that," he was honoured to be associated with the scheme as he came from a family of farmers."

Also Nawaz will be next seen in Shahrukh Khan starrer Raees which is slated ro release January 26, 2017 after his recent release Freaky Ali.
