About 160 dollars (about 11,000 rupees) are spent to buy new AirPods, but a 15-year-old boy has changed the Apple earphone coming with the wire to AirPod in just under four dollars, or less than 300 rupees.
"I started this project almost two months back when my friend got AirPod on his birthday and I thought this thing is very expensive and I made it at home," Sam said in a news release. Sam began started to watch videos of YouTube, in which peoples were making AirPods by themselves, but many people said that cutting down Apple's headphone's wire is just a foolish idea.
After this, Sam purchased hands-free bone conduction headset from eBay and then removed its case. Sam removed the wire from the headset's speaker and connected his old Apple earbud to the printed circuit board of the headset.
