For your information, the Artiga is the lone car in the segment to get a mild hybrid system. Earlier, Maruti launched the Artiga with a 1.5-liter diesel engine, with sedan car Siaj being the only engine. The current Artiga 3 engine options include 1.5 liters of petrol, 1.5 liters of diesel and 1.3 liters of diesel. The 1.5-liter diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission of Artiga gives 94 bhp of power and 225 nm of torque. While the 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine gives 89 bhp of power and 200 nm of torque. With this engine, SHVS gets a mild hybrid system, which gives a mileage of 25.47 km per liter. While the 1.5-liter petrol engine with a 5-speed manual and 4 speed AMT gives 104 bhp of power and 138 nm of torque, it is likely that Mahindra Marjo, who is concerned with the falling cell of Marathas, can launch it with a petrol engine. This engine can be launched around Diwali. The petrol engine can be given a 120 hp power of 1.5 liters in new Marathas.
