On the second day of the National Inter-University Women's Athletics Championships, legendary Sprint runner Dutee Chand has clinched a gold medal in the 100m Sprint race. At the same time, in the 400 m, Priya Mohan has also won the title with her personal best performance.

Dutee, who won the World University Games 2019 gold medal, started the season by winning the gold medal in the 100m final with a time of 11.44 seconds. She is also engaged in representing KIIT University.  

The 18-year-old, who was India's fastest woman runner in the 400m last year, has also won the title with a time of 52.58 seconds in the final. Baljit Kaur of Patiala's Panjab  University walked 20 km while Komal Jagdale of Savitribai Phule University, Pune, has also set a 3000-metre steeplechase title meet record.
