You might be still remembering the handsome guy in the song “Ghar Se Nikalte Hi” but do you remember the actress, Mayoori Kango. The Jugal Hansraj starrer had this wonderful romantic song dedicated to the girl of his dreams, played by Mayoori. This actress has now moved on from films, only join Google India as its industry head – agency business.

Here it is to be noted that many of the filmy fans are still in love with the melodious song from the film Papa Kehte Hai. However, not many tried to find out about the actress who starred in this flick along with a few more film and TV projects. She has successfully moved on to become a thorough professional, for those uninitiated. As per the reports, Mayoori was a managing director of Performics, media associate director at Digitas and Chief Digital Officer at Zenith. The actress quit Bollywood and got married to NRI Aditya Dhillon in 2003. She then moved to the US and completed MBA in marketing and finance from City University of New York-Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business. She later returned to India and started working in Gurugram.

Earlier, “Every time a new client sees me, they have the same question – ‘How come you are here?’ I have answered it so many times that some colleagues suggested that I record the answer. But I have to prove myself in every new meeting as people have a notion that actors are not intelligent. I have worked hard to make people take me seriously. People should complete their education before they come looking for that big break in Bollywood. Especially the actress, their career in the industry lasts only around ten years.
