In the last six years, Akshay Kumar and Rana Rakesh Bali's Cape of Good Films company has been contributing to the making of superhit movies that have become meaningful as well as commercial. Sitting quietly with its emblem on posters of several successful movies, "Cape of Good Films" has been waiting to be proud even further with the success of the production house over the years.  Founded in 2009, this boutique content house started working to create movies that are meaningful, yet are going to be commercial.

According to media reports, the company's partner Rana Rakesh Bali says, "Every story can be told through cinema, provided it is sensitive to the audience for whom you are engaged in making movies. No one is coming to the theatre to learn a lesson by giving their hard-earned money, if you want to say something serious, say it in a way that makes the audience understand the whole forte even with a smile.  And that's the mantra of Cape of Good Films.''

In the last 6 years, from Airlift (2016), Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017) and Mission Mangal (2019) to National Award-winning and critically acclaimed films like Rustom (2016), Pad man (2018), Chumbak (2017), Commercial Grossers Films Kesari, Good News (both 2019) and Sooryavanshi - the biggest hits of 2021 - Sub Cape of Good Films.
 
Continuing, Bali goes on to say, "What is different about Cape is that one who has no face." It's just a team, she's trying to create something like that they believe in and want to keep the same way. Our feeling is that whatever movie we make is bigger than one person and one unit, and it is going to be preserved like that. The content house is now planning to introduce popular movies like Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu and OMG 2. It enters 2022 with a firm conviction and supports content that also breaks stereotypes, challenges perceptions and excites viewers to love movies more.
