All SUVs in the compact SUV segment have had a slump effect in Indian automobiles. By segment leader Hyundai Creta, Renault Captur, the sales of all SUVs saw a decline in May. Some of these sales were less than 100 units. Despite a 13 percent decline, Creta is leading the segment. Creta's market share has grown to 60 percent, which is good news for the company.

It's still the car leader in its segment. The car sold 9054 units in May. However, it may change after the launch of Sailtos. Mahindra Scorpio had about a quarter of the market share. The company is working on the Next Generation model of the Scorpio. It may increase after it is launched in the cell.
For your information, the Maruti S Cross has also fallen by 30.32 percent. The Mahindra Scorpio may further increase the decline after its launch. Renault Duster's sales were less than 700 units. The car sold 672 units in May with a 10 percent negative sale. Duster's 749 units have been sold in its first month.
