Henley Passport Index 2024 has recently been released, revealing Singapore as the top-ranked passport in the world. According to the index, Singaporean passport holders can travel to 195 out of 227 destinations visa-free, marking it as the most powerful passport globally.

India's Position
India ranks 82nd in the Henley Passport Index. Indian passport holders have visa-free access to 58 destinations. This is a slight decline from last year's 81st position with 61 visa-free destinations.

Pakistan's Ranking
Pakistan's passport remains among the weakest, ranking 100th out of 103 countries. Pakistani citizens can access visa-free entry to only 33 countries. The countries performing worse than Pakistan in the index are Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan, which is at the bottom of the list.

Top 5 Passports
Singapore - With visa-free access to 195 destinations.
France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain - All share the second position with access to 192 destinations.
Austria, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden - All hold the third position with access to 191 destinations.
Belgium, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom - All share the fourth position with 190 visa-free destinations.
Australia, Portugal - Both are in the fifth position with access to 189 destinations.

Index Methodology
The Henley Passport Index evaluates passports based on the number of destinations their holders can visit without a visa. The more destinations accessible visa-free, the stronger the passport. The index is developed using exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
