New Delhi: When there is a menace in any country of the world, India first extends its helping hand. In such a situation, India sends humanitarian aid forgetting even after the indifferences. After the earthquake tragedy in Turkey too, India immediately sent relief materials and two NDRF teams to help the people. However, there has been a difference of opinion between Turkey and India regarding the issue of Kashmir. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has described this as the basic spirit of Indian civilization. 

S Jaishankar said, 'We see changes in geographical conditions every day. Although India's relations with all the countries are stable. India is always ready to help humankind under the policy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.' The Embassy of Turkey in Delhi has also sent its condolence message. Turkey's ambassador tweeted, There is a saying in Turkey that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

After the same earthquake in Turkey, it is gauged that at least 14 thousand people have died. So far the figure of 8 thousand has been confirmed. There the work of relief and rescue is going on. A total of more than 5600 buildings have collapsed in Turkey. The death toll in the disaster is continuously increasing. In this situation, India sent a medical team to Turkey along with 6 tonnes of emergency relief material and medicines. India has sent relief material through two C-17 Globemaster. The Foreign Minister had said after sending the help, India expresses solidarity on its behalf in this time of crisis.
