Ajit Kumar's 'Valimai' has done business of Rs 3.72 crore in Karnataka. In Kerala, it has also earned Rs 1.55 crore. In other parts of India, it has earned Rs 1.04 crore. The box office collection of this movie abroad was also very impressive. In overseas, the movie has earned Rs 15.20 crore. In this way, the movie did a total business of Rs 59.48 crore on the first day. On the second day in Tamil Nadu, the movie earned Rs 24.62 crore.

In this way, in two days alone, the box office collection of the movie in Tamil Nadu alone has crossed Rs 60 crore. If you look at the statistics, in the case of net collection, with earnings of Rs 30 crore, 'Valimai' has also surpassed Rajinikanth's recent movie 'Annathe' and Vijay's 2021 movie 'Master', which is called 'Thalapathy'.
