Former tennis hall of fame star Chris Evert has said that he has ovarian cancer which has just arrived in the early stages. Evert, 67, told ESPN.com about it. She also has an on-air announcer.

According to media reports, she came to know about cancer only last month and her chemotherapy was started this week. She continued, 'I have lived a very good life. Now, some challenges have also been faced. ’

Evert, an 18-time Grand Slam singles winner, has been world number one and has been ranked in the Tennis Hall of Fame in 1995. Her sister Jean Evert Dubin died of cancer in February 2020 at the age of 62.
