As you can see, by sharing a picture of himself on Instagram with the late singer, Salim revealed that he was working on a song with Sidhu and it was going to release very soon.

In fact, Salim wrote on the post, "I am shocked and sad to know that Sidhu is no more in this world. this is incredible. We were going to release a song soon". According to a report that surfaced, Salim said, 'I can't believe this has happened. Sidhu was a great person.' With this, Salim further said, "Sidhu was a kind, respectful and soft spoken person. I had met Sidhu in October last year. Singer Afsana Khan, with whom I worked on a project, talked about her a lot. He insisted on collaborating with Sidhu. Incidentally, I had a Punjabi song with me. I thought only Sidhu can sing this song. So I went to Chandigarh and met him."

He further added, "We wanted to release the song last year after it was recorded in October, but then the elections came and he got busy, so the release got stalled. After the elections, we had to delay it further as both of us were busy with our respective work. Eventually, we had decided to release it in June. We were just two weeks away from the release and this accident happened." Let us tell you that Sidhu Musewala was about to celebrate his 29th birthday on June 11, although before that the news of his sudden demise came which left everyone disappointed.
