Many of Apple's web-based services were closed on Monday (March 21, 2022). Apple's services that came to a sudden halt include Apple Music, Apple TV+, App Store, Podcasts, Contacts and Apple Arcade. Users from many regions of the world were unable to use these services. This outage has also been confirmed on Apple's dashboard.
Indian users have also filed complaints about the downing of iCloud. Apart from calendar, contact and private relay, Indian users have also faced problems in access to Apple Maps and Find My Network. Many users have complained on social media about the suspension of Apple's services, although now all the services have also been started.
Many users have claimed that due to the shutdown of the Apple App Store, many services like the device enrolment program, Apple School Manager and Apple News along with the iTunes Store were downed. Many users were facing trouble signing in to iCloud. In addition to the iCloud app, the web service was also down. iOS device activation was also turned off for some time.
Not only that, in June last year, the internet was stopped for some time in the whole world. Thousands of major websites remained closed for 50 minutes. Even the United Kingdom's government website was shut down. Spotify, Pintrusts, Twitch, Reddit, etc. were also affected.
