Gopalganj: Many areas of Bihar's Gopalganj district do not have electricity for the last 8 days. Hundreds of power consumers, who were agitated over the lack of electricity, rushed to the power office and caused uproar. On the other hand, with old lanterns in his hands, the office of the executive engineer of the electricity department made a big uproar.

It may be mentioned that a day earlier, angry consumers had urged the executive engineer of the power company to put up a wreath and repair the power system in his own area. All consumers are residents of Tirbirawa and its adjoining areas of Sadar block. The protesters first reached the office of the North Bihar Power Distribution Company at Aarar Bend. Here, he accused the power officials of shouting slogans and for negligence in supplying power to the officials.

The protesting youth Imran Ali told the media that there was no electricity for 8 days at several places in Yadopur feeder in Gopalganj district as it rained. The test is currently in progress. Students are not getting electricity even to study. So they are performing here with lanterns. Because of the officers, he is forced to live in the 80s.
